We had the privilege of collaborating with San Diego-based singer/songwriter Sutton James on a photoshoot near Two Guns, Arizona—a location as distinct and captivating as his music. Surrounded by the rugged desert landscape and abandoned ruins, Sutton’s energy and enthusiasm shone through each shot, reflecting his genuine love for rock n’ roll and indie-folk vibes. As he prepared to promote his solo album, “High Country Hiatus,” our goal was to capture visuals that showcased both the raw beauty of the setting and Sutton’s dynamic stage presence. The result was a series of images that beautifully complemented his eclectic and engaging musical style.
